ARTIST STATEMENT
The design conference AGI Open in São Paulo opened with a poster exhibition. The members were briefed on a mono-thematic assignment: Brazil. We decided to work with the archetypes of the country and the diversity it unites.

ARTIST BIO
Sascha Lobe heads design studio L2M3 in Stuttgart, Germany as lead creative director. Lobe directs between graphic design and architecture, wayfinding systems, signage, print, branding and identity projects that take on dual forms creating a distinct visual syntax that translates the idiosyncratic identity of each project theme. L2M3 has received more than 100 international awards in all areas of visual communication including the ADI design award, the Red Dot award and European Design Award. Lobe was appointed to the Alliance Graphique International (AGI) in 2009 and is a Professor of Typography at HfG Offenbach. L2M3’s printed art works are currently held by the following design collections: Museum für Gestaltung Zürich, Neue Sammlung München, Kunstbibliothek Berlin, Bibliothèque Nationale de France and Designmuseum Frankfurt.
